My Club 33rd Degree Birthday

 It's still over a month away, a mystical and very special day for me... my 33rd birthday...  It is my very own special Club 33, it is my own highest 33rd degree! I wanted to do something grand to celebrate.  I wanted to invite everyone, and maybe have a party at a restaurant, a banquet hall, or just get extravagant in my own home...  On the other hand, I wanted to get out of here, go to New York, or New York casino in Las Vegas... either way...  Or take a road trip up to the redwoods...  Maybe south to Cabo.... And finally I thought about just doing the Christmas thing with my family, driving around to see everyone.... Finally I looked inward to myself and I decided I want to stay home for Dec. 25th.  I am going to put up a tree, and decorate the house.  I have no kids, but I have never done this.  The last house we lived in was a condo and it wasn't the same, but this is our first house together for sure.... it is definitely my first house that I own.  I t

If you are a man wanting to date a woman, please know her biology... and vice versa...

I don't think any of my male friends would have this problem, but... What business does any male have wanting to date a female if he doesn't know anything about them?  And I don't mean emotionally or psychologically, I mean biologically. If you think if we are on our period we pee blood, please read a book about reproductive systems in both male and female. If you didn't know there are three holes doen there, the urethra where we pee from, the vagina where babies come from, and the anus where we poo from, again, read a book on reproductive systems both male and female. If you do not understand the menstral cycle, and why we bleed, and how many days after that we ovulate...  you know what, seriously read a book about this.... If you think breats are just sexy but are appalled by mother's breast feeding, OMG please go live on an island in isolation. PMS isn't real...  don't fall for it.  However, women do get cramps, some of them anyway,

Thoughts on my journey

I have a friend who is on a quest to be comfortable with himself enough to not need a significant other, although it's really much more than that...  Through this process I've observed his behavior, listened to his thoughts on his frustrations and enlightenment etc...  From time to time he without meaning to puts down my own situation and I know he hates it when I talk about Robert, not that he doesn't like Robert, they are friends too it's just that I am talking about my significant other when it's not essential. But none of that is my point...  I thought about it the other day and remembered my own quest.  Long ago I had wanted to embark in a similar journey as his, but those journeys never lasted more than six months.  The last time I decided to stay single it lasted five months before I met Robert.  But while my own quest was to be comfortable with myself by myself, it never meant me being single...  How could it, I've always been a romantic.  It'

Fitness for Mia

(Mia is the nickname my younger siblings call me) So it just occurred to me, Netflix has fitness dvds and I looked up belly dance.  Bam!  Free lessons. =)   Its a little easier for me without a teacher because I have a dance background, but I need a full length mirror to adjust myself.  I thought about this and figured, I have too much liesure time on my hands and cannot reach success without structuring my schedule. so here is what I decided to do... 6 am wake up, do oil pulling while letting the dogs out.  Make my juice or smoothie for breakfast.  Spit out the oil, drink a glass of water with my supplements. Feed the animals. 7 am Workout... I will have a 4 week schedule rewritten every month for morning and evening workouts. 8:15 Drink smoothie or juice. I must do this without multi tasking and be mindful of my consumption. 8:25 am Morning Meditation.  Doesn't need to take more than 5 minutes to kick start my chi flow. 8:30 - 10:30 am Work... 10:35 - Snack bre
