Ideal Patti PlayPal dolls were made in the 50's and 60's, I think there was a resurgence in the early 80's as well. These dolls can walk, and some of the smaller sizes could talk. They are interesting because the Ideal company wanted them to look accurate to other toddlers and they did! They stand at 28-38" and there is a whole family of them available. I forget all the names but I know there is Patti, Peter, and Penny PlayPal dolls which stand the tallest. Last year I took up a great interest in finding these dolls and restoring them. There are two in my family, but chances are I won't get a chance to revive those for anyone so per my mom's request last year I started searching for them online. Usually in good condition, you won't find them for less than a couple hundred, but I did find a few that were not in great shape which I am happy to restore for less that $50! I am looking forward to
