Life on the new street

There is a guy who lives on our road who (I think, from the distance) looks like Brad Pitt in the scruff...  Bearded and tatted but still looks like Brad... and has a couple kids so I imagine him with a few more adopted kids... and his kids look like the Pitt-Jolie kids (from the distance) so I wonder if his wife looks like Angelina.

I gave him a pack of cigarettes I found at my moms... who knows how old they are... but since then he waves when him and his dog or him and his kids walk by.  Robert doesn't see the resemblance but he didn't get a good look...  Heck I only saw him up close when I gave him the pack of cigs anyway, I noticed he smokes and gave him the pack.

The other neighbors here are sooo interesting!  I kinda want to write a book about them!  There is a guy up the road who lives in a castle... a real castle he built himself out of rock and stone he quarried himself from around here.  The same guy is the guy who (we are told) designed our koi pond and built it (not confirmed)... it's a piece of art!  And apparently he has caves he made himself under his castle.

Our neighbors to the back are really nice, the wife came over today and offered to help with mowing the lawn with a weed wacker since she said ours won't do.  And she is pregnant but she came over with a chainsaw and a truck and cleared the branches Robert had sawed off the oak trees.  She took them down to the four corners ranch to burn out there.  It was a sight to see!

Across the road is a nice older couple with a ton of animals.  They are the Doolittle's of the neighborhood and the ones that feed Pete, the peacock, who now decided not to live on our property after Artemis scared him off.  We see each other, the bird and I, from time to time and reminisce on our short time together when I fed him peanuts and bread... Life is good here.  Real good.  I don't ever wanna live in the city again, not even the suburbs.  I love it here as an HQ.  I'll visit the city, and I love that people love the city, I just don't even like living in it.

I wonder if people will come out here for epic parties?

BFC Ink Doll Collection Complete!!

Well, if it isn't obvious, I got into doll collection, but I suppose I always was a doll collector, just not really by choice as my mom would buy me a porcelain doll every year for my birthday until I moved away for college, but even then I still got porcelain dolls as gifts from her and other members of my family. Over the years of course I have collected dolls from the 80's like the Kimberly doll by Tommy, and of course Barbie...  then I got into repainting Bratz dolls the past couple of years and added Monster High to the list of dolls to look for at flea markets etc... But one day, by chance I came across the now out of production MGA Entertainment 18" BFC Ink (Best Friends Club Ink) dolls.  These dolls are way cuter, in my opinion, than American Girl Dolls (which I really do not like at all actually) or Journey Girls etc...  They have a hard body all the way and were made in two types.  The first productions were just all vinyl bodies, much like the Wellie W...

I am not so sure I have ever wanted anything this badly before. So in my anticipation I have been day dreaming and planning, coming up with ideas like this: There are several concrete pads and they are so plain, so maybe something like this method w...

Revisiting the name "Syren"

From time to time I contemplate this name.  It is a name I particularly love to see in written form and I actually love the sound of it when spoken.  But what does it mean?  It is a made up word or name that simply appeals to me. Syren makes me think of serene...  It makes me think of the sea.  Some people pronounce it see ren... others sigh ren... It was half chosen and half given.  I've said this many times before. (recap) When I'd audition for singing roles, the panel would always do a double take, and onlookers would be in awe of my singing... Mainly because they didn't know what to expect until they heard it.  Because of this the name was given to me. But the name Syren is derived of: siren- –noun 1.   Classical Mythology . one of several sea nymphs, part woman and part bird, who lure mariners to destruction by their seductive singing. 2.   a seductively beautiful or charming woman, especially one who...
